Farmers' Market
The Sunday &Thursday
Farmers' Market are located at the Weberstown Mall on March Lane
and Pacific, in front of Dillards. These markets start at 8:30
am and end at 1:00 pm. At the market, you will find a variety
of things, from fresh cut flowers to vine ripened tomatoes to
flavored almonds and fresh baked pastries and other goodies. What
better way to get ready for that weekend BBQ, visit the market
to find everything you will need, well almost!
Sign
up for your chance to win a free basket filled with fresh fruits
and vegetables from the market. Drawings are held weekly!Or, you
can participate in the "tasting" event for the day.
What is that? At the Sunday market, we choose
something that you would buy from the market, for example tomatoes.
We get a few tomatoes from each vendor and at the farmers market
table, we slice up the tomatoes that are available at market.
This way you can taste each farmers tomatoes (or the tasting item
for the day) before you decide where you are going to buy them
from.
The annual Home made
Salsa Contest is held at the Sunday Farmers Market. Each year
we have 2 contests, in 
July
and October. The top 3 salsa chefs win Farmers Market gift certificates.
Who are the judges? You, the customer, have the opportunity to
vote for your favorite! We tally up the votes and determine the
winner!
The Thursday market
is a great place to have school field trips! What better way to
show kids where their food comes from. It is a great educational
experience for all ages! For more info on booking a field trip
